fantastic dinnerware

I bought this set for my everyday dishes a year ago and I still enjoy them. I love the plates because they are all different patterns with different flowers and butterflies. I especially like the size and shape of the rice bowls. They have one little bee on the inside of the bowl. The are great for everything from cereal to ice cream. The pasta bowls are terrific, too! I couldn't be happier with my set.
I am so glad that I ordered this dinnerware set. They are as pretty as I expected. I love the butterflies and flowers and the overall design. Each piece is unique. They are great for everyday use or for company and look beautiful on the table. I enjoy using the coffee mugs every morning. They are a nice change from my other everyday dishes, which my husband and I still use, so I enjoy mixing them or alternating. They seem to be very durable and dishwasher safe. I look forward to using them for many years to come. I also ordered the pasta/salad serving bowl set. These two sets go perfectly together. This set of dinnerware is a great buy.


These plates are really lovely. They are light yet sturdy, and can be used safely in microwave and dishwasher. What I love about them is that the design on each one is different, yet they all match. They are original and cheerful, but not tacky, and the colors are subdued enough that they don't clash with presenting food. I look forward to collecting the other pieces. Price wise: I've seen this set in Bath Body & Beyond for $150 and on the Lenox website for a lot more. I've also seen some odd pieces in Marshalls, at $10 a pop, you can do the math. The label on the box had $312 on it as the original price. So the Amazon deal is really good. Also, packing and shipping was really good, not a scratch on them.

I have seen a few pieces in a store, and before that I have never seen any pieces of hte Butterfly Meadows Collection. It is really pretty, but the cups are very thin. I think that this is more a delicate dish, but rather for adult use then just child/family use. I would not buy this for dinner or anything harsh to eat, maybe cake and coffee, maybe soup. I have not bought it yet and still not sure if I will. It is just pretty, but so delicate, I wonder, if it would be worth my money, simply for my own reason, I am not much of a gentle person, so mostly I settle for a tough three doolar mug to last mw at least two years...

I'm pretty satisfied with this one.

The Lenox Butterfly Meadow 18 Piece dinnerware set is prettier than in the picture. They are very sturdy and very good sizes. They were delivered in a very safe box. They microwave and wash well. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a beautiful but useful dinner service.

This is a treat from Lenox. Most other patterns are far more expensive so I am not surprised that so many people own this pattern. It is not too grandma like the Royal Albert Old Country Roses but individually the pieces are better than clumped together as pictured. The colors are milder and less intense than the picture.

The best thing about this set is how nice they feel in the hand - much nicer than the crockery for similar prices and that is where Lenox beats out everyone else in this price category.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget but since I can afford it, I would personally just buy the Lenox Eternal pattern. However, I would never have considered the Lenox brand if not for these dishes. I don't know if these are loss leader for the company but every piece including the mugs looks nicer in reality and each piece is thoughtfully designed. All three sizes of plates can be placed without needing to be adjusted because like great pattern designes of yore, the designs intentionally allow for it. That's why the butterflies and sprigs are placed the way they are.

If you don't like the stock photo. Search on Amazon for each individual piece and you will see that the pattern is better than this group photo.

It was a pleasure to recieve my dinnerware set. As soon as I opened the box I knew we would be having our dinner on it that same day. Every one loves the set. I was familair with Butterfly Meadow having previously bought a similar set of bowls, so I pretty much knew what I would be recieving, needless to say mealtimes in my house is a lot of fun with every one choosing which pattern they want to use. Thanks for such prompt delivery, looking forward to adding to my collection.

But my son tipped the mug and spilled his juice first time we used it. And then I did the same next day.
And afterwards many incidents of almost tipping over.
The mugs have very small bottom, so they are designed to tip easily.

Also, my son dripped his grape juice (the scallop design makes it easy to drool). And I did the same too. ha ha ha.
I guess we need to get used to using these mugs.

Other than that, I love love love, I started collecting other butterfly's now.
